19th International Workshop « Spatial Econometrics and Statistics » - May 31th and June 1st, 2021 (Nantes)
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the 19th edition of the workshop initially scheduled for May 2020 is postponed to May 31th and June 1st, 2021. The workshop will be an online format this year.
The aim of this international workshop is to promote and develop scientific exchanges between economists, econometricians, statisticians, geographers and mathematicians on spatial econometrics and statistics and their applications in various fields of research. This workshop also aims to discuss the state-of-the-art and future challenges as well as opportunities in the fields of spatial econometrics and statistics and encourage exchanges between senior and junior researchers involved in spatial statistics and econometrics.

Cem Ertur Prize:
During a special session dedicated to the Cem Ertur prize, selected young applicants will present their contributions. They will benefit from an extended time for presentation and a thorough discussion by a senior researcher. The winner will be announced during the conference and will receive an award.
Special issue - Journal of Spatial Econometrics:
A special issue of the Journal of Spatial Econometrics will be associated to this 19th edition. A selection of papers will be made by the Scientific Committee of the workshop. With the agreement of the author (s), this selection of papers may be proposed for publication in the journal. The usual refereeing process will be implemented.
Important dates:
Full papers or long abstracts submission from February 1st, 2021.
Submission deadline: Extended to March 31th, 2021.
Notification of acceptance: Before April 20th, 2021.
To be included in the final program, at least one author should register before April 30th, 2021.
